(OT) Live is fun again.

I'm not sure what qualifies as off topic these days but I've had some time off work and I've been trying out different firewire interfaces to replace my m-audio 410. I haven't recorded into Live for a couple of months and it was making me sad. I am relatively poor so I couldn't go the RME route, alt...

I was waiting for the mini to be updated but then they released these the same day. Decisions, Decisions. I think they're mighty purty machines and since I don't play live, it would meet my needs. I like the upgradable graphics in the 24". I also like the idea of a 24" because I've been us...

You know I can make it easily head in that direction, right? i got your back. i've got this 1.8ghz/1Gb pc and it still hasn't made me wanna ditch my 1ghz/768mb G4. I non-partisan, though, as I support pc's for a living and can usually get around the idiosyncrasies of both platforms. Just a c...

How about an option for using both? Most of my rig is connected to my mac but i really like the performance of my pc laptop so i may temporarily move it all to my hp lappy.
i can see where this thread is headed, though......

Kinda disappointing to see the low end model with the integrated graphics and 2mb cache. I think I'll save for the 24" after all.

I'm far from an acoustician but from what I understand, the smaller the room, the harder it is to accurately control bass and your room dimensions are considered small. Room size? Dimensions?
Seems like a good deal on foam to me, although, I'm kinda sold on mineralwool/fiberglass broadband traps.
