Re: Rewards for people that help out on the forum
My original post has been taken in many ways. The idea was a rough one with people deciding if something would be workable. Some people have taken it as a form of regulation, that is not the case, if you want to post stupid comments then that's fine it lightens things on the forum and gives us a goo...

quote] no rubbish, total rubbish... just don't vote, censor or value anything but for yourself. if you like something get involved, if not ignore. full stop.[/quote] Exactly! If you are not interested don't get involved, good advice. Leave it at that. However I'm talking reward for effort, hopefully...

Re: Rewards for people that help out on the forum
It seems a good topic. Can we get it as a sticky do you think?
Once it gets enough looks I will send it to Ableton.
Power to the people and all that.

Re: Rewards for people that help out on the forum
I was thinking on a credit scheme, otherwise it might be most posted rather than most helpful. Something similar to ebay or whatever where you rate how useful the response has been.

Rewards for people that help out on the forum
What do we reckon? I have got loads of advice and hopefully given some too. It must save loads of Ableton support time and money. Yes we all read the manual but the forums can help explain things in different ways and the response is really quick. How about a credit system that the can be offered ou...

Re: Latency in Ableton but not in Soundforge?!?!?!
That's cool I am out about to play a a gig so doing this from my phone hence the question. I have read the manual front to back and will dive back into it for this. I think I jave already adjusted delay compensation. That is in preferences and you can set a tone to adjust it if I remember rightly

Re: Latency in Ableton but not in Soundforge?!?!?!
Measurement results: 748 samples / 16.96 ms
That seems fairly quick no?
Here is what Ableton says
Buffer 256
Input 8.21ms
Output 8.21ms
I am recording at 24 bit, maybe I should go 16 for recording for latency?

Latency in Ableton but not in Soundforge?!?!?!

I have adjusted the latency in my preferences so it reads overal latency 0.45. Both ableton and sound card are 256 if I go any lower it stutt...
