Re: Rumoured Apple Tablet

I don't find the laptop format particularly inconvenient, so I'm not too incredibly excited about tablets...the touchscreen could be really cool for use as a controller, but however many thousands those things might cost is an awful lot to pay for a touchscreen midi controller. As for the validity o...

Re: Zebra Patch contest (Round 2!) Voting over...

Congrats man...I actually thought that patch was sure to win, and that's why I only voted it third. :) There were certainly a lot of excellent patches in that batch. I wish I'd gotten my Moaning Dipshits patch turned in. I know I had the win in the bag, since no one said a word about it when I poste...

Re: u-He Bazille

I think the V2 is a lot more desirable, although someday that might not be the case, when they slide into collectability. Right now, it doesn't seem like people can hardly give away the V1s. Everyone wants that limit switch and stuff. :)

Re: u-He Bazille

No doubt, I'm all over it if you can bring all that insanity into the box, Urs. I am in total lust with my new festival of knobs, lemme tell you. Runciter has been an exceptionally good substitute as I've waited to Sherm, even in its current form. BTW, hoffman2k, Nova Musik has an open-box double ra...

Re: u-He Bazille

People at the KVR forums have talked about that kind of stuff, like not putting the frequencies on the knobs of the EQ Uhbik.

I too love the Runciter, flanger and delay in particular, although I don't think Runciter is going to get quite as much use now that I bought a Sherman. :)

Re: Some Classic analog instruments! and ableton

The point of volta is that you can just skip the shitty midi resolution and send CV straight out of your interface into the vintage stuff, isn't it? All while also using the interface to bring the audio back in to the computer. You need waveforms and such to send, like this now-famous guy. http://ww...

Re: Barack Obama is inventing Time Travel

There are telltale signs, you know: a wingnut would never know what keys make a bullet point, and would instead use simple hyphens (and would probably not organize his or her thoughts this well in the first place). Lack of punctuation and numerous errors in grammar and spelling also denote authentic...

Well, at that point we hadn't started talkin' our hick-talk yet. :)

I will admit, it was a bit of a troll. Congrats to the liberals in here who didn't bother touching it.
