planning on a gift, which model of this turntable is the most sought after for djs
and what are the best altnernatives that a dj in the know would be equally happy with?

as well, is this something I should only buy new or is used ok?

hello cids and thank you. at that link it says that mac fuse and mac core are required, are these things that are already located in osx lion?

I have an external hard drive with allot of free space on it that I'd like to use for storage but it is formatted ntfs so my mac can only read it but not write to it. I'd like to be able to copy files from my mac to this drive for storage, what is the best free utility for doing this and is it risky...

I notice that people who don't use maschine are the most critical of it, interesting debate. At least Glitch's objectivity as a user is worth listening to. As someone who does not have a maschine I can only wonder why so many others who don't use it are so vocal about it.
