While you were in there, did you notice how the faders were hooked up? Are they connected with a ribbon? Mounted to the big main pcb? Or are they attached to a smaller PCB that is in turn connected to the main pcb? While in Rome... They are mounted to the main pcb. I was hoping there would be room ...

Thanks very much. I actually stripped it down, only took about 20 mins, and most of that was unscrewing the huge number of screws.

Just gave it a paint job today, not quite finished, still need to add a few red lines to the fader bank, and some minimal red lettering on some of it.

Haven't tried it with the monome and pages yet, but I used to use my Virus Ti with automap with the automap prefs file Access supplied, and in it they left the device name as the default "ControllerName" even though it is connected via USB, and it works fine.
Might be worth a try?
