If you installed the drivers already, you should be able to select the device as a Remote Control under the MIDI/Sync tab of Preferences, and then use it as a MIDI input device in a MIDI track.

Gate mode does it.

So why do you still want the clip in the scene?

right right- but there is no way to turn a trigger off on a clip? You just have to use the stop clips button for the track, which is the little square right about the words "midi from" or "audio from" when you have the i/o view on. Right above the send knobs if you don't have th...

I assume you mean how do you do this when the clip is ordinarily lined up with other clips in the scene. . The best way for me would be to just copy and paste all the clips into a new scene without the clip in question, so you have two versions. If you don't want to do that, you could keymap or midi...

I have the M-Audio BX5's, and I like them pretty well. For their smaller size/price I think the bass/sub-bass response is pretty good.

You could unwarp the breakdown clip(s), automate song tempo during just the breakdown to whatever it was x4, then hit warp again with "original tempo" at the new tempo. Say the song is at 150 bpm. The first half is a clip played at 150 warped with orig. tempo at 150, then the breakdown is ...

Hi,
Thanks for posting your music.
I like Continuum pretty well, and Voyager, of course very different vibes.
Yeah, I don't know if this board is the best "test market", but it seems like an excellent place to solicit more detailed critiques.

I second the use of LAME -
I use Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) with the LAME "add-on" or whatever, then I do save selection as mp3. Sounds good to me.

This is a great use for Live I enjoy this workflow where I take something long I've recorded on MD, open it in Audacity, export selection to WAV on the bits that I like, then just start dragging them into audio tracks in Live and looping them. If there are some interesting peaks or percussive bits y...
