Re: @ Tarekith [maschine&live]

How does Maschine integrate into a Live project when saving? For instance, with other plugins, Live saves the data so when you open it, it should be set up exactly how you had it before closing. Is this how the Maschine plugin operates? How about backup? I like to do Collect All & Save on every ...

Re: MASCHINE 1.5 UPDATE IS OUT!!!!!

The new update has got me intersted in Maschine. Not sure why it hasn't before, maybe I just dismissed it without really looking at it. Anyway, I have a couple questions... 1. How does this thing integrate into Live? I've seen the video where they drag both MIDI and Audio from the Maschine window on...

Re: [UK] Digital Economy Bill passed this week - ISSUES AHEAD

One of the technical limitations to the copyright clauses of the bill were how to deal with people downloading content on public wifi networks in cafes, pubs etc., which is something that most of the MPs seemed to actually comprehend in the second reading in the House of Commons earlier this week. I...

Re: going to a Les Claypool show tonight..

Missed him in London earlier in the month. He very rarely does any European gigs so I was really disappointed. From the YouTube videos it looks like it was a lot of fun.

Re: Why Americans don't like European football

^ a lot of the rugby plays are actually perfectly legal in American football, but for what ever reason they choose not to use those plays. I guess they're scared of dropping the ball if they pass it too much or something. Dunno... I'm sure the reasons , if there ever really were any, are long since...

Re: Ok geeks who do you reckon this is?

I find it odd that so many people on this forum think this is a commercially successful artist. It may turn out to be but usually in these cases most people throw out their knowledge of the obscure. seems to be quite a bit of money behind it to be fair, unless the artist also made the videos too, i...

Re: What will be your next gear purchase

I'm not going to buy anything for a while, but when I sort my setup out again i'll get a complete acoustic treatment kit for the room and some new monitors (either Genelec 8030s, Event Opals or something similar) and maybe a new soundcard with better preamps and converters.

Re: the world series

I think it was a marketing thing when it first started - in the hope that other nations like Britain and Australia would soon field teams of their own?
