I dont know which is better, splitting them horizontal or vertical, but i just need: 4x8 (x-y direction) session mode AND 4x8 notemode or 8x4 (x-y direction) session mode AND 8x4 notemode. Uh, i am sorry, i mean notemode and session mode in my post (i just saw it yet... But my mistake made me think ...

maybe they offer a bag for push and a cover or a stand for it. maybe an additional controller which is hookable to the push.

I need an advice (may someone can test it). My project file is 130 bpm. I have a 32 bar clip with a tempo of 110bpm. I use the time-to-scene function on a 8 bars out of the 32 bars-clip. its possible, but needs enough power. on my i7 2600k with 12 gb ram one isntance needs 20-30 %.
