Re: NI Massive v Alchemy
In Alchemy you can sample sounds you created in Massive and bring it to a whole different level ;) ... You will not find an answer by posting it on this forum to what you should buy. Just decide for yourself, which you like to use. I'm pretty sure you will be happy with any one of your purchases. Ha...

Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
... I also don't seem to have any problems. But I haven't updated for a while.
I only use it in Live btw. I think the standard EQ's in Logic are pretty transparent already.

Re: APC40 Power Button Gone
@liamshy : I did manage to fix it! These images http://www.illuminatedsounds.com/?p=744 together with the Youtube movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lD1rL-ions Should be enough to disassemble the APC40. After that you should be able to find the button inside. Hopefully the button itself is still ...

Re: uh-e Diva All Go !
demoed it and it sounds alright (not very impressive or anything, though), but it doesn't add anything to my sound arsenal that I don't already have... So I guess it's just not for me. How can you even say something like that? :P What gear do you own? You know this is modelled after hans zimmers FA...

Re: Lemur is here
It looks very slick, but I already have both Touchable and Konkreet Performer, which work both very nice with Ableton. I think it's very nice for people who look for specific control-ability, but 40 euros for something that would be similar to what I already have and use is a bit expensive.

At the moment I just use the headphone output into my audio interface. But I was looking into the possibilities to use the digital output of the iPad! So I am also very curious if you have any recommendations for this...

Re: Room Treatment
Uhhh... I'm no expert, but this sounds like a very dodgy way to find resonating peaks in your room. If your serious about room correction, I would recommend to get specific equipment for a more accurate readout. Anyway if you do this, I think you have to make sure you know the frequency graph of you...

Re: Black Friday Deals
I would really like to see companies reward existing customers with these types of sales! Komplete and Guru owner here, would love it if they added incentive to upgrade with these sales, instead it makes me less liable to upgrade when for instance a purchaser can today get Geist for just $25 more t...

Re: Question for the Turntablist on the Forum
I was in your position just 2 weeks ago. I finally decided to purchase Traktor. Haven't regretted it so far! Main reason for my decision was the controller mapping and seeing a few of my friends in action with Traktor! I think coming from an Ableton background, it just fits (me) better... But I gues...

Re: Black Friday Deals
:!: Be careful with waves. Just because they call it Black Friday Sales, they are not necessarily cheaper. I've been waiting for their sales to start, because I've been looking to buy their SSL-Collection. It's now on sale for $499,- at Waves ( http://waves.com/content.aspx?id=11880 ) But at Thoman...
