I am thinking mainly Reaktor and Absynth with the hoggage factor, tru i'm a reaktor user. this soft can effectively be a cpu hog with some ensembles. but not everytime : the library is fited with about 1800 ensembles and you can easily find some which can produce amazing sounds without cpu matter. ...

you should use a compressor !
what is your routing ? do you own one on your setup ? even a numerical one. if so, just do :
mic > preamp > comp > EQ.
but don't raise your incomming signal to the max cause you're gonna have too much distortion and your sound will be unusable.

here's what really happen : the 2 first samples playback normaly, not the 3rd. when i hit this 3rd sample, live freeze. it seems the app is searching for it. i have to wait (a too long time) before live can't even play it ! so what's the problem ? it never happened to me before i upgrade to v.4...

i'll add i'm having problems about it.
live is stopped and i can't preview my samples correctly ! i can hit 2 samples normaly but the 3rd can't be played ! do you know what it can be ?

tell me, what's the point about them ?

ethios4, i think that just to make your explanations clearer, you should have said that you must select the desired curve first (choose it from the row which appears when you select a clip in the "envelopes" part). then [ctrl+c] (copy) the env. and [ctrl+v] (paste) it where needed.
