did you switch sample rate at any point? even 44.1 to 48 khz affects pitch

how long have you been using the new version for? is it possible that live is still indexing? (to check you can open activity monitor on a mac and look for the ableton index process)

if you're doing an edm mix like that, and especially if you're not mixing in key, id recommend re-pitch for avoiding artifacts such as we heard in your track in OP

This MBP is what i use and its working very well. One tip: you don't have to replace HDD with SSD but add it in the optic bay (thats what i did). as a former apc40 user and current push user, it sounds like you should probably go for the push. as you mentioned. the apc40 might be a littler bit easier for mixing purposes - the push interface for tweaking EQ, volume etc is clunky IMO but you could always map around it if it's a big problem. wit...

This is a pretty indirect solution, but you could try right clicking your acapella (assuming it's recorded already) then convert melody or harmony to MIDI. Clean up the midi notes and pop in whatever sound you want, then you should be left with a pretty solid foundation upon which you can build

kind of difficult to say for sure without hearing. but at first glance, that is an incredibly intense sidechain. dial everything back, otherwise i'm sure it's going to sound totally weak. also consider whether you even really need a sidechain if your kick is hitting 30hz above your sub. what's the p...
