Latency is a direct result of buffer size, no way around that. If you are good now at 512 buffer size it is good for you but for many the latency at that buffer size is still quite noticeable. IMHO that site should have been monitored by Ableton Support, have a single guy dedicated to answering it, that's is the only way it was going to work, also that could serve for ableton to improve manual or make a troubleshooting guide.

The problem here is Komplete Kontrol software, it adds a layer between Live and the plugins, the way it presents parameters to live is different than a single plugin. If you are not using a Kontrol keyboard I would use the plugin without Komplete kontrol so it is easier to navigate presets and load ...

Native Instruments could do it if they wanted. They have lots of mapping done for Live so I guess they know how to do it, so maybe ask them.

Most of that out of tune is intentional, in electronic music it is very common to modulate pitch, or set one oscillator slightly detuned.

But it also can be dialed back, look for parameters controlling tuning, or modulations for pitch.
