Oh, this is on an HP dore 2 duo laptop with 3gb of ram, DV6604nr, using an M-Audio 1814 for audio and an Elektron turbomidi for external midi, which drives my Mopho and MBase01.

I'm having an issue with FM8 where Ableton 8 will lock up if I attempt to drag FM8 to an available empty MIDI track. If it is a brand new live set, it usually will allow me to open FM8. I used a cracked copy off and on for a year or two.
