Some more testing
Well,
Did some more testing on other systems. XP no problem.
Think we just had bad luck witch that spesific release of Windblows XP.
I'm still curious, is this a bug or a feature?
Enjoy the music,
f

idle CPU
Hi,
My Mac, Dual 450MHz, 384MB has an idle of 14% on a blank song. Remember that Live is heavy on CPU and the machine is about 2 years old now.
Some optimizing could be done, a new machine will help.
Hope Techsupp got some answers for you.

I would like vsti and a midi sequencer, mainly because those other programs logic and cubase give me a headache trying to get them to work. they are so un-intuitive i would like to leave them in the dust and integrate those features into live. However, if adding those to Live would also make Live u...

A revolution in controling
I got a Phat-Boy for a couple of years now, and beleve me Pocket Dial is a revolution. Pockte Dial has endles knobs, Phat-Boy doesn't. This is the fundamental difference. Everyone likes to have as many knobs as possible. Changing to an other midichannel will give access to more knobs. CH 1 knob 1-13...

Hi, sorry to intercept, > Live midi playing and recording of VSTi < Live is about audio streams, not about VST instruments. Use your midisequencer (e.g. Cubase or Logic), and sync. > SPDIF Live Input < You probable didn't configure your soundcard the right way, your SPDIF port is just an audio port ...

Hi,
One month ago i mailed a question, but didn't get an answer so i'd tryed again last week.
A week ago i mailed the question again, and got an answer in less then 24 ours.
Seeing this story's, it would be a good idea to check or rebuild the mailserver at your abletons

A pre/post switch on the aux send would be handy, that should give about the same result.
