Re: The future of Live - should we worry? (video)
I 100% agree, Stromkraft :) Same with "XXXX will be the year of linux" and more. But regardless, if it's a thing then it is a thing and can cause some people to go away. Personally, I am particularly fragile when it comes to abandonware. It literarily pains me to use outdated tech unless i...

Re: The future of Live - should we worry? (video)
I read "Ableton" and "deadware" together often enough on various forums, so that is becoming a thing regardless of reasons.

Re: The future of Live - should we worry? (video)
Ableton is falling a bit behind times with Live. Progress just isn't there. And it's not niche things that are missing only. Push is awesome, Link was important too. Innovation is still there. Who knows, maybe the next step is improving MIDI capabilities…? MPE and things described in original post's...

Re: WHY ABLETON - IF SUPPORT SUCKS
5 authorisations for 2 computers, which is quite large I think What? What does that mean? I swap computers very often (due to work + the fact that I enjoy being on the edge), currently I am on my third computer since I bought Live about 2 years ago. Does that mean that soon enough my license will b...

Re: Support for Polyphonic Aftertouch
@jrhythm6960: Regarding that Seaboard video: imagine that you could record MIDI in Live (regular MIDI) but you wouldn't be able to change it - just replay, maybe change the instrument, effect rack etc. That is essentially the status of Seaboard support in Live (and worse, because you need annoying a...

Re: Beat Tools - New Pack for Suite and Push owners
Have you d/l and installed it? Well, I definitely downloaded it from my account and opened it but it seems like it didn't install. When I try to install again last thing I see is "authorising new product" or something like that. I own Suite and Push 2, so it should go through. In my case,...

Is it just me or is this Pack not showing in a "Packs" place in a browser?

Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............
Personally, I think this suggestion for zoom would very welcome, but I don't understand the mentality in this thread to limit this to mice, when there are so many other cursor controllers. Oh, I don't even own a mouse :) Scroll wheel support essentially also means that we get support for two-finger...

Re: Roli Blocks
There was never any implication that Ableton has a new release coming soon with this supported (or not). Yes yes, I understood it correctly :) When I wrote "will be in Live within few years" I meant it as a sarcasm - if it was to come within few years (more then say 1-2) then I would actu...

Re: Roli Blocks
Actually I took your word for it - you wrote somewhere that Ableton is aware and surely planing something about it. And then I thought it's semi-offical, because you claim to be forum adminTarekith wrote:Where was it semi-officially confirmed?

Re: Roli Blocks
Don't worry, Ableton is on it (it was semi-officially confirmed here on this forum) and MPE support will be in Live within few years, so very very soon…chapelier fou wrote:I can't make my pad work in M4L. It works well with plain Max, or in edit mode. Is this normal ?
