im running motu ultralite mk3 on windows xp with a SIIG firewire pci-e card. flawless performance, the extra $60 for the SIIG card was well worth it

im using the wonderful pre's on my Soundcraft M Series Console as well as Motu Ultralite. thinking of investing in an Avalon or something of that caliber but need to do more research...

with that said, ive heard people talk negatively about motu pres but i think they rock, very warm and punchy

ive heard about the jitter issues, i think i got lucky that mine doesnt have it. bought it second hand even

the esx sat around for a little while unused in my studio until i started recording it with a nice preamp :wink:
