Re: Disappointed with ProjectSam Orchestra Ensembel (but there i
I got yesterday.
I'm not an expert but for $99 it's worth, at least for me.
Don't judge for the size, samples are the same quality of any other ProjectSam product. Sometimes less os more, I'm sure you can make good tracks with this.

Re: ableton orchestral essentials
Picked it up. I've always wanted to get Symphobia but thought it was it bit overkill for what I needed. So this got me pretty pumped. The Project Sam sound for 99 bucks. So far so good but one issue I have is that "String ensemble all" pops or clicks a lot. I have 2.3 GHz intel macbook pr...

Re: In The Box is the future
I think your the first to put it like that in this thread. "Better" is relative/subjective, I prefer "different" because it's no doubt different. Yes, different is a "better" word. 8) I hear people make these points about listeners and what listeners notice, yet I have...

Re: In The Box is the future
I can agree that analog "sounds" better then digital, but it's a discussion that people can disagree too... Not everyone can identify the difference, to be honest, 99% of the listeners don't give a shit. It's the same that compare analog turntables to an digital CDJ, maybe you can tell tha...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...
Finally COMPETITION!!!! Now we will see 2 things of users feedback, some users will say that Live is poor and BitWig is the "future"... But, IMHO many users of Live will realize that Live have a thousands of critics just because it is the only and the most used in the market in it´s area.....

Good post, agreed with some points, but disagree that you need to do things 1000+ times, sometimes to success with need to learn to be more lazy...

Re: Sound Quality Issue when Exporting Audio
no time consuming matter when it's for good man  I would say you simply have to freeze the problematic track(s) only and no flatten. Rather select the content of the track then drag and drop the frozen clips in a new audio track [same as flatten without loosing your midi track, if further edi...

Re: Sound Quality Issue when Exporting Audio
Are yr tracks, 'specially Zebra, frozen? I'd say freeze + flatten, I would think Live would have an easier time bouncing. Think about it, if it sounds fine with resample, it would sound the same flattened. Just be sure to switch the warp mode to repitch after you flatten everything (or maybe just y...

Re: Sound Quality Issue when Exporting Audio
Why are you dithering when exporting to 24 bit? There is definitely a difference in stereo width and clarity between the two files. I've got to walk my dog and I'll try to come up with something a bit more constructive in the next hour or so. I tried exporting without dithering, small difference bu...

Re: Sound Quality Issue when Exporting Audio
The synth is zebra2, but in a complex rack. I never had a problem with zebra. I can try change the synth, any idea?pencilrocket wrote:What synth are you using? Does that synth have resample mode for export? Have you suspect the synth itself?
