See I am totally shop inclined to make one of those...but scripting stupid. So the most I could personally get out of this is a simple midi controller. Wouldn't you still need a basic python script for ableton to see the controller? I think not. I should show as a standard midi controller. Some bom...

K. Thanks for the info. I guess i stick with the contact failure.. Maybe i just try to open my SL up and see if i can make the contact work better. But arent those top row encoders different from regular pots? I read somewhere that they would just send +1 or -1 data vs. pots that are basicly resisto...

Hi. I have older version of Novations Remote SL and one of the encoders have a slight contact failure. Not bad, but gets annoying some times. That got me wondering if i could replace all of the encoders with higher quality non clicky ones and how hard would it be? I'm not an pro electrician, but not...

Got the iMaschine last night. Very fun and intuitive to use but i feel that there is a need for further editing and effecting capabilities. Maby adding 2 or 3 effects busses with 2 or 3 slots per pad group, more effects and some envelopes and a filter to the keyboard instrument...

I hope that they will do an iMassive to run along with the iMaschine :D The iMachine looks like a fun scetch pad to use in the bus. I have Nano Studio, but to be honest i haven't been using it a lot lately.. iMaschine looks that it is more suited for quick on-the-go creation. NS takes too damn much ...
