Once you have the kick in sampler I would suggest playing up the keyboard as can be easier to get the correct pitch.
Then just trigger that sound a couple of octaves below for the correct kick sound

You can also turn midi mapping on then off again, that sometimes fixes problems for me.

Having the track control encoders bankable is a nice way to do it. Which you can have via nativeKontrol.

I need that overlay for my launchpad! I was unsure how to add it to my basket it though....


FYI I was able to memorise the controls for the native kontrol template but manually labeling my APC and by printing the manual. Its definitely worth the effort to help commit the controls to memory.
