I run 1600x1200 on my 15" laptop screen. Took some getting used to, but with laptop you're usually not that far from display, so it works fine. Yeah, I use 1600x1200 on my 15 inch laptop and I would never go to 1280x1024! I get sooooo much more on the screen, plus in Reason I get a rack at 800...

Well, I think that they should implement it. They implemented MIDI against what seemed like a lot of peoples wishes, but it turned out to be a spectacular design. I use Live as my main DAW and also use it Live. Why would I want to buy Cubase just to have Freeze and ALSO have to buy Live just to play...

I did this on my laptop (before I formatted it recently) and it indeed helped tremendously.

I thought I would add that it works fine with Emagic software. I'm either getting Logic Express or a Firewire audio interface. I have a 2|6 that I have to pull out sometimes, and there is a fix that you can make to a Live config file that improves the latency. I can't remember what it is.... Anybod...

Another vote for PDC toward the top o' the list. FX-Teleport, impulse reverbs. FX-Teleport in Live would be the cats PJs!

I find myself layering it up with VSTi's, using alot of miscellaneous sounds and what not. Yes, I've got a boat load of stuff running as well on my 3Ghz Laptop.
