Re: Is there a method of horizontal zooming live.scope ?
I'm not in front of it, but isn't the trick to increase its sample rate attribute? Yeah, I tried that one and Increasing the SR zooms out , but I need to zoom in. I'm working on a kick drum visualiser, so the trace of that percussive element is often only a 16th note long, if I decrease the SR to z...

Is there a method of horizontal zooming live.scope ?
Hey all. I'm using live.scope and can't for the life of me find a way to zoom in horizontally Looking at the attributes there's nothing which seems to scale the view horizontally, vertical scaling can be done by modifying the input amplitude but for horizontal zoom I'm baffled. Any clues? https://i....

Re: Return Track to Bus/Audio Track?
on the audio (bus) track you are routing to, right click the sends and select "disable send" on all the sends on that bus track. the reason is - if that send (on the bus) is activated its possible to make a feedback path, and those cant be automatically latency compensated. if the bus send...

Re: Getting Crackles and Pops Despite *Significantly* Higher Buffer Than I Have to Use in Other DAWs?
That's somewhat similar to my desktop system. I remember I had a few weird crackle and pop issues when I first set it up early last year. I think one of the weird things which resolved a lot of my issues was turning off that " fast startup " setting. I know that sounds crazy but apparently...

Re: KORG VSTs are 64bit but do not show up
Have a look in Live's prefs and see what it says for "VST3 custom folder". Take a look in that folder on your OS and see if the korg VST3s are actually in there.

Re: Push 3 is absolutely annoying
Nice point about the "hidden" link to the forum, I'll definitely forward this. Well, seeing how the internet is used, globally, I think people definitely know how to look for places that are not directly right under your nose, but anyway, your point's still valid imo. Hahaha, oh my. Sadly...

Re: Push 3 is absolutely annoying
Well, Centercode is the place to report bugs if you're running the beta firmware. I reckon I'm also surprised there's not more discussion over there. Centercode interface doesn't really suggest discussion. The forum link there is very hidden When new users log in they see two big buttons [View Bug ...

Re: Latency with external sequencer
I'm not fully sure I have your setup right. But if you are sending clock from ableton to the Oxi ... go into Ableton prefs and on the output thats sending clock to the Oxi and nfold the little clock parameter in the midi prefs listing and set a clock offset there (by ear) TBH the clock latency issue...

Re: creating a visual interface for live
hahaha ok thanks! :) i'll check it out. right now i am meddling with touch osc, seems like i will get it working there anyways. Ok, I've got something that may be a bit more coherent which works with TouchOsc and also with map midi. Again, it's designed to work in a host set, but you might be inter...

Re: creating a visual interface for live
I'm not sure how much use it will be for you, but here it is. beware - it has the magical ability to crash Live if you edit and save it. That's one of the reasons I abandoned it I think. hopefully everything got frozen here and is included. You might have to do a "save as" because my serve...

Re: creating a visual interface for live
Yeah. I made a touchscreen interface for live for stage performance in m4l I've not used it in a couple of years because I went to the dark side (eurorack and hardware seq.). But ... My interface is on my touchscreen laptop. It is mostly just a heads-up display for my hardware controllers . It has m...

Re: best trick to normalize (without using normalize on export)?
For quick fixes I just tweak the gain with the clip volume slider , manually by ear. The reason being that normalisation just takes the peaks to near zero in a resampling process but you aren't necessarily getting "evened out levels" between tracks as perceived volume is often different be...

Re: Sample Rate Conversion within same track
You might be misunderstanding what you are calling "foldback distortion" that's more usually called aliasing. The aliasing from overdrive/saturation/distortion effects are usually from overdrive within software, because as the distortion effect produces high frequency harmonic content it h...

Re: Tight Live Sync with External Synths using Sample Accurate Clock
In 1988 I started gigging with a TR626 and an SH101. To fill out the sound I had a cassette tape with backing pads on the left channel and a Roland sync pulse in the right which fed into the drum machine clock in and that drove the SH101 timing . It seems insane to me that 35 years later we are stil...

Re: L11.3.4 update!
It's good practice to have a couple of older Live versions on your system in case of stuff getting broken. Recently I've mainly been using live as a tape deck. Just recording multitracks of performances that I'm doing OOTB, so 11.2 is just fine for me. I certainly don't need the new DJ warp analysi...
