Re: Live 9 browser NIGHTMARE !!!
You will not have problems with indexing. For Live's use, it indexes and displays file properly. It does not alter files.

Re: Problems with automation between Ableton and Sylenth
Is the parameter modulated by an envelope or an lfo within sylenth? this might cause abketon to think the hser adjjsted the parameter and will unhinge the parameter from automation control. A possible solution might bd instead automate a modulator that modulates something else. Obviously not ideal, ...

Re: Live 9 browser NIGHTMARE !!!
I have changed my workflow so that i dont notice the problems anymore. I have noticed that my user library presets have been showing up in the devices tabs, but i haven't given it any investigation; I no longer use a User library. Should you upgrade? Yes. There are many things that are better that m...

Re: Problems with automation between Ableton and Sylenth
Could try mapping the parameter to a macro, then automating the macro. That might trick ableton and sylenth into working.
If you have a mac, you could try au or vst, whichwver one you are not using

I like this feature: Swipe Comp in Logic Pro
This is the first time I've heard of this concept. Seems cool. Do you Logic users use it?

Re: ableton index not responding
My understanding is that for the most part this is osx reporting that the index is not responding when actually it is working properly. The activity monitor should just be ignored.

Re: Plugin Delay Compensation and MIDI clock sync delay
I'm thinking that Live evaluates all devices, then compensates to put them in time together (ext Instrument included), then mixer, then track delay.
So it seemz like, in my mind, you are correctly compensating on one measurement
and then using an independent measurement to throw the first one, off.

Re: The Evolution of The MacBook ... What's Next and When?
For audio production? No, I don't think so. If anything, its your processor speed, not RAM amount(but y'know your RAM speed could be slow too). But here are the steps to find out what, if anything is causing you grief. I would advise doing a clean install. Clean it out. Defrag, if you can. Delete ju...

Re: The Evolution of The MacBook ... What's Next and When?
Hey man, I want to talk to about my mac experience. I'v purchased to macs, primarily for producing music. Upon the amazing track record of my imac 2008, and how I was crazy impressed with core Audio(!) I purchased an i7 mbp last summer. I think the mbp might be a bit of dud, as it gets crazy hot whe...
