I tend to use loops/samples for things that I cannot create myself. I.e. horns and funk guitars. I just cant replicate them realistically, so I will dig into my sample CD collection and rip a few out. However, I still NEVER sample other peoples work, I keep all my stuff as legit and copyright free a...

Why cant you just use multiple sends and multi outs of your audio interface to do the same thing in live?

Also, honestly, I like specs and numbers too. Fluff hippie talk makes me think scam, and doesnt really make me want to whip out my credit card or load beta software onto my machine. :)

You can turn looping off for the clip and set the follow actions to 4 bars and "Play again". It will play once every 4 bars :)

what about making an 8 bar clip that only contains notes for the last bar? But then you have to trigger it 8 bars in advance :)

You could also do follow actions to have a roll repeat every 8 bars, or have a groups of rolls that would randomly fire every 8 bars so it doesnt get boring. :)

"We urgently need a function to set a (negative) offset for midi-clips. "

Agreed. The more sync adjustment fields made available, the better! :)

awesome!! This thing has breathed new life into my external hardware! Sure you have to set up dummy tracks and routing, but its worth it when you can finally synch up external FX boxes :)

I've done the partioning thing and it works great with my 60gb 4200rpm. After shutting down all the services i dont use with the music partition (even the DHCP and DNS client and all networking stuff), I now use about 60mb RAM for XP pro. Usually it uses about 140 or so with all the stuff enabled. A...
