Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers
Sidenote: what is the first bass sound you use in the preview event video performance? I love it. Operator? Thanks - It's a rack with 2 parallel Operators, the preset "Bass-Hip-hop Sub" for low end, and another preset I made for Operator/Saturator/Overdrive/Amp/Cabinet/EQ8/Compressor/Over...

Re: Help Warping Stems
Here's the short version: Warp the drums, duplicate the track, drag the next stem into clip view of the duplicated track, repeat for all stems. Thanks to J. Period, who used Live for 1 month and schooled me on this (I used to select all clips and warp them simultaneously, but his method is much fast...

Re: Help Warping Stems
I have a lesson for this on my website: http://www.jethroe.com/2011/07/04/how-to-warp-multitrack-audio-files-in-ableton-live/ Please excuse the dust, the website was hacked and I am in the process of fixing it. And yes, I only listen to The Police "Do Do Do Da Da Da" at the moment, because...

Re: Push Chord Patterns
It's even easier when you play "In Key" - if you look on the Push page on our site, check out the "One shape per chord" picture. You only need to know one shape for every minor and major triad in all 12 keys. (And yes, I run a bunch of hardware synths with Push, using External in...

Hi Guys,
At the preview event, and for all the Push movies, we only used bus power. I just hotplugged Push when Gerhard handed it to me onstage.
Best,
Jesse

Where we aimed for is big enough to play drums with two fingers, small enough to play melodies. Calipers were use...
