midi controlling loop brace in a clip as an effect?

Hi all, can you control a loop brace or looping position of a clip live via midi so it cycles different parts of the loop? If not is there a similar effect or way of doing this quickly playing live without using the mouse?

the note repeat

The MPC 1000 doesnt have the note repeat though which is really funky. Akai are bringing out a new midi controller though that has this so check that first too. Check some stuff out on youtube where some of the hip hop guys get those lush sounding little hi hat rolls etc with the note repeat by chan...

Thanks, although the download from the audio ease site is $595 US rather than euros so its a $100 US saving rather than 1/2 price

Breverb/Altiverb

I am thinking about getting some quality reverb. Has anyone checked the new Breverb or the convolution Altiverb?

Wanted for Techno/Dub/House styles.

There is some very nice warm verb on the Christian Smith John Selway - the coming storm LP if you get what I mean

tape delay test

Ok so I checked out as many as I could. Unfortunately a lot are pc only or dont work with the Intel Mac yet. I think they require a universal binary?. Had a look at the dubscrolls site - great website, seem to be pc only effects but heaps of good stuff on there anyway Couldnt check out Bunky Freaks ...

Thanks all, looking forward to checking some of these out. I do have the fab filter timeless and although it makes some amazing sounds and has been really useful, I have not been able to get an authentic tape delay sound from it like the one I described that was contained in Logic.
