Re: Ableton 9 and apogee ensemble creating clicks and pops on au

Did your old Mac run Snow Leopard? I've had trouble with Apogee's drivers since they updated them for Lion (and since then Mountain Lion) with my Apogee Duet. Support couldn't really help. Ended up buying an RME Babyface. Much happier. This might not be the same problem you're finding but hope you ...

Re: Thoughts on Push by those who have it now?

I've been using Live since version 7, and not until I actually had Push in my hands did I finally feel "connected". I never felt comfortable with playing keys, goodbye Novation SL61. Nor did I enjoy the MPD24's feel, even after modifying the pads. I took about a half a second to be fully c...

Re: Pu Pu Pu Push is on the way

I unboxed mine yesterday!

Spent the whole day with it. It's a nice piece of gear.
Noticed a heavier load on the laptop, and some quirky things with the APC40.

Might need to dig into the manual.

Re: Live 9.0.1 Suite takes long to load and too long to save!

I am experiencing the same delay times compared to 8.
On average a extra 30-60 seconds in save/load times.

Re: Are any of you fellas "Gear Sneakers"?

I used to be. The Mrs. would occasionally come in and count the pieces in the rack and do a quick scan of synths, guitars. I thought I was the only on... Times have been less fortunate. Still trying to come up with the cash to finish a instrument I'm building. Have some squirreled away. Altho...

Re: Free effect plugin for slowing down tempo

I believe you can automate tempo within Live itself, setting min and max values. It can also be done in the arrangenment view.

Re: Anyone ever try their hand at building instruments?

Trying to work my skills up to the point where I feel confident enough to build a guitar. I imagine the neck and angle to be the most difficult aspects. Never thought fretting would be that difficult but learning all the time.
An amp build would be totally cool.

Anyone ever try their hand at building instruments?

This is something I had always wanted to do ever since I was a kid. My father used to play in a church band and the steel guitar player was a tremendous builder of violins, cellos, guitars, you name it... And he only had one eye. Not that it mattered much, just interesting. I remember taking trips u...

Dropping audio in max for live devices

For some odd reason, it's a hit or miss thing. Especially audio that's recorded in live. Is it something to do with audio setup in preferences, ie sample rate?
This has me stumped. Anyone else have the same problems?

Well, went to the doctors today, confirmed I have a flu of some strain.haven't worked since Monday. Amazing what's on YouTube. It started with a interest in UFOs, which is hokey enough... Then the related column. Just wanted a peak, round the bend, ya know, didn't want ta stay, but daaaaammmmnnnn. I...

 yep
It's a slurry of crap I've watched all week, it's like those tabloids at the checkout.
Aside from the lemming thing, that was my own.
