All I was saying is that the vst format was created before Live which had to be built around it, were vst's designed to be used in a program such as live which has a higher realtime demand due to the non linear way it's used.

With all the glitch type problems that people may or may not be experiencing, those that are blame the hardware or live ,methinks the vst format maybe crippling our live enviroment, any thoughts?

Select and copy clip tempo to master

I wanted to make a auto hotkey script to copy the clip tempo to the master tempo so that i could get the best sound quality for a given clip, the problem is that the value in the clip tempo field cannot be copied.

Why not?

I can't think of a solution until this value can be copied anyone got a way.

angstorm wrote "it would make sense if hitting stop once used this new 'arrangement sync' but hitting stop twice should reset all the clips to play from their start markers." Yes in session hit stop once = pause twice = reset and maybe a modifier for arrangement that would suit me

Match master tempo from selected clip

A mappable button to match the master tempo to the selected clip, when multiple clips selected the average tempo is used.I would like this so that I can quickly switch to the clips native tempo and gain maximum sound quality, usefull for mixing hip hop and when the warp sound quality is bad.

How about four deck mixing using a quad pa stack with a different track sent to each corner then the crowd would get a different mix depending on where they stood, might aid crowd dynamics
