as for the pops and clicks, maybe your Delay Compensation isn't spot on. if you use Looper I believe that would lead to pops and clicks in Looper. But this isn't using Looper. This is ANY track recorded into the arrangement view in Live 8.1.1...midi triggered or with the good ol' mouse. And no plug...

I think if a user has been reporting to support a specific problem since July 13, 2009, and its been acknowledged by Ableton that the problem is with the software, the user should be notified if the problem has been fixed.

(i.e. midi-triggered recording that occasionally causes Live to crash)
