I'm trying to figure this out as well!

Say I've loaded up 5 patches in one instance of Kontakt 4. I routed them to different channels in Live. When I save the file, close out, and load it up again, Kontakt loads but the 5 patches don't.. Because I like being able to see the absolute value of my automation. When you auto mate in the clip envelope editor, it just says +50% for example instead of what the actual setting is. Am I right or am I missing something?

Have there been updates to this: ie the ability to copy a clip from arrangement view and be able to preserve automation without extensive envelope copying?

Is apxtend discontinued? Trying to find it!

I don't save anything. So I start fresh everytime, even though I know what setting to use and stuff, I never save, so there is always a slight difference. I do think that Live does a good job at jumpstarting the creative process, saving you lots of time in arrangement. The fact that you can drag midi clips back into the file browser with all of the instrument and effect data with it is a huge draw. Not sure how exactly Logic stacks up in this regard b...

I think using: Draw mode, then removing superfluous points, then using the CTRL-key hold method is the new coolest thing to do.
