Re: BMP lower than 20
Dan Deacon here?
WOW
If your goal isn't a complete slowdown but in fact a song tempo of < 20 BPM using double tempo and thus double note lengths etc. is a workaround.

Re: Cant get a VST to load? please help
In which folder did you put it? You can either put it into /Users/YourName/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/ (for you only) or /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/ (for all users) In Live, press "cmd" + "," go to the file/folder tab and click on the button to rescan the plugin folder. If it do...

Re: Griid/Cliip- iPad controller lets you get INSIDE clips
Where did you get stuck....?
Set up was pretty easy for me: Installed the package, launched the daemon. Selected the MIDI Remote Script in Live (perhaps it was already selected during the installation, don't remember). Opened the App in the iPad, done.
Maybe we can figure out what's wrong here....

Re: "Beatport" stands for Commercial and Sellout?
But then, some individuals decide.
I'd prefer the fee model, because then the market decides instead of somebody with probably bad taste
(OK, people with enough money can still put out their stuff. Umm.)
How do you get an independent jury on a sales centric site...?

Re: "Beatport" stands for Commercial and Sellout?
Well, I was responding to when you said- maybe labels should be forced to pay a certain amount for a release but in return get a higher percentage of the sales....? So... Yeah, and that still is exactly what I am talking about. Which part of it did you get wrong...? I see your point that you think ...

Re: "Beatport" stands for Commercial and Sellout?
I'm not disappointed..? My point is that a label is going to shell out cash if you're unproven. And a small label definitely wouldn't - they can't afford the gamble. If you are a new artist and you go to a label saying "I need you to pay for all of this, but you'll get a higher percentage of s...

Re: "Beatport" stands for Commercial and Sellout?
You've obviously never dealt with a label... Sorry to disappoint you... I do have experiences. If everybody's so excited about having their stuff on beatport, BP can change the conditions to their likings quite a bit. And now imagine that you desperately want your stuff to be available there ...

Re: How do i make a sond drift into infinity?
I am pretty sure he is talking about the release time of the envelope. If the sound you are talking about comes from a synthesizer, try adjusting the release. If it's a sample, however, it's not that easy. You can add a "tail" by adding some reverb or delay (turn up the feedback), but that...

Re: "Beatport" stands for Commercial and Sellout?
I wish they were even more selective to be honest, like records used to be, it was a lot harder to get into those than Beatport. +1 someone had to believe in your music enough to invest for a pressing exactly. maybe labels should be forced to pay a certain amount for a release but in return get a h...

Re: "Beatport" stands for Commercial and Sellout?
I also prefer whatpeopleplay (better preview, browser back button, ...), but unfortunately these days many releases are Beatport exclusive. Yes, currently Beatport seems to be "the place to be", but I wouldn't be sad if that changed. Nothing personal, I just don't like the Flash site. Howe...

I have posted "swing for beat repeat" and "adapt arp to the new Groove Pool" long time ago in the feature wishlist. Still no news... perhaps in L9.

Re: How to get this effect on Sebastian leger's track?
I'd say this is
- a FM synth or a plucked string simulation
- pitch bend goes down 7 semitones in 2 bars
- the rhythm is either programmed or an arpeggiator.
Nothing really fancy....? How about trying these few things and uploading it? Then we can talk about more specific sound design issues....
