A Star Caster? Is this a real thing? Like a knock-off strat? I'm a big fan off humbuckers too. I've had 2 strats in my life and both have had bridge position humbuckers. If it's a comparable price to the yamaha, I'd be very worried about this 'Star Caster' if it includes an amp and the yamaha doesn'...

I wasn't able to detect any problems with my amended racks, except that hot-swapping pads that contain racks (ie hot-swapping the "hits" within "kits") would place the new rack on a different pad - sometimes replacing another Exactly. So anytime you want to hotswap something tha...

aw shit... really??! I just did the whole lot! What sort of problems do you mean? Well as Amaury said. they're updated now, so maybe there won't be any problems at all. You're probably fine to use yours now if it's since 7.03. I was having problems with pads disappearing when I moved them, or trigg...

Re: Remapping "Drum Machines" presets

Problem: Questions: 1. Does anybody know if there's an easier way to map all the pads used in the presets to a consecutive block of chromatic pads? Like some kind of "fold" option or something? 2. Does anybody know if, by doing the remapping this way, I'm going to run into problems when u...

I've got the 2.16.

I use headphones all the time. No hiss or hum. Good quality.

I've even used the headphone out at gigs on a huge sound system. No background noise.

Apple seem to f'n up the new stuff more and more. 8O

I can't say I've had the same experience. I find the on-board sound pretty good. I've hooked up to a stereo many times from the headphone jack and it sounds fine.

I say look for a second hand guitar. There is point where the value for cost ratio is highest often around the lower mid range prices of the versions built abroad. For example, for a strat, try to find a mexican strat used. New it would be about 400, so used should be well under 300. Maybe 200. Thos...

so is it quick to switch between templates? For example, during a live performance, is it easy enough, like just a button press?

Some controllers are super fast and some have awkward combinations of keys/buttons to switch templates and obviously not for live use.

cheers

Not talking about beef_wellington's document templates by the way. Just curious how many templates the MPD32 has on it. I know it's got 4 banks of pads and 3 banks of everything else, but there are separate templates as well right?

I've got a similar problem with the remote SL. If I sitch out of the automap template to a standard template, move a slider, then go back to the automap template and move that slider again, the on-screen fader jumps. But only at first. Has bothered me for ages. :x

Yup. Watch out for those midi ports. The usb has 3 virtual midi ports in and out. Port 2 and 3 are for automap. Port 2 is for mixer automap (like ableton's template 40 and logic's automap) and midi port 3 is for plug-in automap (template 39 I think or 38 or whatever). Port 1 is for regular midi, lik...
