Once u have got ur slice to midi clip like you want .. Freeze the track then if you change the tempo the loop will still be in sync.

have you set the clock setting to external on the MPK25 within the global options.

Also read that the ARP only works when ableton is playing as it doesn't send out a tempo to the MPK if its stopped.

yes, had some probs using it though, I had made the changes to the knob values through this and they would then appear on the MPK but for some reason couldn't get then to save to the memory of the MPK so when it was power off/on the values never saved. ended up just changing them through the onboard...
