Re: Adaptive tempo and time stretch challenge
I've always been disappointed with the various tap tempo functions in daws and sequencers. Yes, they do a good job of computing bpms by averaging tap intervals, etc, but the thing I've never seen is a "chase to beat" function. Meaning, when I hit the trigger, that is the beat. Right now. T...

Re: Saving Samples
I've had better luck just recording the samples into the spd. I have not been able to see any samples I put on the card. They have to be 16 bit, 44.1 mono .wavs. Is that working fo you?
As to why it's playing twice, is that on the spd or in live?

Re: Official Release More Crashy than the Beta?
I've had a couple of crashes (Win 7/32, Live 9.0.1)where I had loaded M4L instruments and effects - I watched my memory usage in Windows climb to 100%, then Bam!
I think there's a memory leak somewhere.

Re: Does audio to midi work for anyone?
Well, I had a better result with the Hang Drum recording I used.. I did not edit any midi data in this at all. no cleanup. https://soundcloud.com/zill512/hang-on-sufi Basically, 1) loaded the hang recording. 2) Convert Audio to Harmony 3) Audio To Melody 4) I then add instruments getting midi from H...

Re: Sync with Reaktor running as vst...
Well, I just tried this out; I think newscool doesn't really do the 4/4 thing (at least with the presets I tried.) If I use Aerobix, Massive or other beat boxen, they are right in sync w/ Ableton. I think the VST is set up for external sync by default. Oops, My bad. After playing with the Offset par...

Re: New Hang Drum treatment.
^ Yep. Sorry for the alphabet soup.. A2M = Audio to Midi.
Thanks - it's not your usual 4-to-the-floor, in fact I think the time sig is 13/17. Ableton has a hard time with 1/17th notes, Ive noticed.. lol

New Hang Drum treatment.
My latest - I took an audio recording of a Hang Drum session I did a few years ago (adlibbed- there's no way I could play it again..!), and did the A2M thing on it..

I must say, I am loving M4L, A2M, and preview.
