Right click on the MIDI track and choose "freeze track".
Then exporting should include those frozen tracks.

Re: Automating Sinpler's playback modes
I would just make an extra drum rack pad with the simpler set to play the whole thing.
Then when you want it to play the whole sample you just use that drum pad instead.

Would be nice if you wrote the answer here for everyone to see.
I'm interested to see what the solution is to get Ableton to send the position of encoders to a MIDI device.

Re: Bounce midi to audio for Moog Sub37
You insert an "External Instrument" device onto the MIDI track, then in that device choose the audio input that the Moog is connected to. Then you can right-click on the track and choose "Freeze track". That will record the audio from the Moog into Ableton. I usually create a new...

Re: Make Push 2 wireless
I don't understand people's obsession with "wireless" everything. I put wireless in quotes because any "wireless" device will still need either batteries, or wires for a power supply. So usually the complexity (problems!) and cost far outweigh any convenience advantages there mig...

Yeah, it makes sense when you put it that way.
Still a bit irritating though.

When you have a drum pad selected, press the button above the Push screen that corresponds to whatever is on the pad (the button directly under the second encoder), then press Browse.

Re: Stop push from following what's happening in the main DAW?
I don't think there's a way to do it, which is ridiculous.
Such a simple thing to make playing live with Push so much better (or even possible), and you can't do it.

Re: Push 3
Push 3 should have a tiltable screen.
I have my Push 2 on the desk and even though the whole Push is tilted on a laptop stand, the screen is not at an ideal angle.

Re: Make Push 2 wireless
The display needs fast data, just midi with no display could work over bluetooth though. You could do it with wifi, the Push could connect to your wifi or create its own wifi network if there is no existing wifi network available. The latency would be an issue though. Wireless is something I wouldn'...

Is this what your trying to achieve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27vb9d4xajo This is what I’m already doing with keyboard and pad controllers. Those clips are lined up with loops in specific scenes for each song. I can’t see an elegant way to navigate to different scenes with Push so I was wonde...

Re: Using Push 2 pads to play sounds from my Keyboard
Add the "External Instrument" device to a midi track and change the settings in that device to control your Montage. I think that's all you'd need to do. Alternatively, and messier IMO, you can have one midi track and one audio track. Set the midi track output in the IO settings for the tr...

Re: Anyone else find the Push 2 unplayable?
The pads on the Push 1, Push 2 and Launchpad Pro (probably some others too) are the same. The pads are only capably of measuring pressure – any other information (velocity for example) is derivative. It's why there should always be editable source code – it let's you tune your instrument. Is that t...
