i am just getting into remote midi stuff. i can trigger scenes in my set by assigning them each to their own midi note but i'd like to be able to setup a midi note to move forwad (down) one scene, and another to move back (up).
might this be possible and how?

crazy - i was just coming here to ask this thread's very same question. my main remaining question is if i have up to 10-20 scenes per song - i am concerned about the session view becoming incredibly long. although maybe that's just the way it has to be. it would be so nice though if there was a way...

I want my clips to loop - but with no warp effects
i have exported loops from a production i did in cubase. the track is at 113 bpm. every audio bit is exactly X (1,2, 4 etc) bars in length and therefore can loop exactly in time at 113 bpm. some elements are percussion, some guits, bass, drums etc. Even longer elements like a saxophone solo. but eve...

my experience with live PA context is you need somewhat less compression. when things a loud in a club your elements should sound bumping and compression limiting the dyn range may actually make them sound less powerfully because of the lower dynamic range. you're not dealing with loudness wars in l...

it's interesting reading this thread... i left cubase sx3 to produce my last track in live 6. i have more or less given up on cubase because of slow evolution of the product and lack of stability and fixing horrid bugs. while i have had exactly the same issues with the lack of performance and comple...

thx - i am using the asio drivers for the lynx card. i have about 25 tracks. i will try reducing the lynx buffer size to see if that helps. what about the plugin buffer size in live? it's at the default 128. i am using trilogy, dr008, livetweaker, mr rhodes 22, vintage warmer, and more - but again a...
