now what they need to do is, when they get the quad core mactels, figure out a way to boot up both osx and xp at the same time, each using one dual processor a piece. you could run everything you wanted in osx and have the xp running gigasampler or fruity loops! oh man, i haven't used fruity loops ...

i don't understand why you think you need to buy a new machine. Live will continue to support g3's, 4's, and g5's for at least another version upgrade.
