Easy, go to Control Panel, Programs / Uninstall

The old Live version should appear in the list.

Select and click Uninstall.

Did you click on an older shortcut icon?

Or choose a new floder during install leaving the old version intact?

Is the Stereo Mix enabled?

Open the Volume Mixer to check.

Or a send from the drum track active to an FX

Tried setting Power Management / Advanced to highest? The Advanced tac option is easy to miss.

I forget the exact steps but its under Control Panel etc

Sometimes a single vst can be a cpu hog. Also depends on the patch with the vst.

Perhaps you have 32 bit vsts in your 64 bit folder etc

Seems your PC should be freezing tracks faster gioven your system

For some reason I cannot record iPad audio into the PC fully. I managed to record one short 8 bar loop using the headphone out to the PC Mic Line in. This sounded fine. After one short loop I tried to record something different and the PC spat the dummy. I used to be able to send audio from the iPad...

I can barely get one Launchkey to work regularly.

Constantly have to either reboot or shut down etc

It has annoyed me to the point of selling it and using my NI Komplete 61 that works great. That involves changing from one room to another but worth it.
