I am using a drum rack to step sequence a midi device. I am trying to figure out how to force it to scale like the regular midi view does. Is that possible?

Or even better. Is it possible to step sequence an instrument/external device without routing it to a drum rack?

I can't figure out how to do sound on sound overdub audio. When I switch to arrangement view and hit the loop button it overwrites the clip on each cycle.

I want it to keep the recording and let me play on top of it adding in new material each time it cycles.

I cant figure out how to record the audio in as the clip loops rather than recording the midi.

wait your saying there is no way to audition the presets of an external synth using push? whaa??

Whenever I go to insert a midi clip onto a part, its always one measure long. How can I change it to a different length?

I want to control an external synth's parameters via cc, but I'm not sure what number to assign them too because I can't figure out what channel the encoders are sending on.

You dont map the encoders on push to the macro controls, they are already set up. I am trying to figure out what CC's they are sending on.

What CC channels do the macros knobs send out on? There is no CC chart in the manual....

Is there a way to navigate through MSB/LSB Program Changes via the Push Controller?

Can I take a really long sample and have it mapped across the sampler keyboard split by equal lengths, or by peaks or something like that?

yip that works pretty good i guess, thx!! be nice if they streamlined it and let you drop effects onto the parts independent of the device track.
