BUMP!

I have also had this issue in numerous versions of Live. I can recreate it EVERYTIME with Z3ta on Live 4.1.2 on PC. None of the PC keys will work. The only way to get around it is to remove the instance of Z3ta, then load some other vsti in the same channel, and then open the new synth's window and ...

Hum-X from Ebtech will do the trick, SAFELY

Hum-X from Ebtech: http://www.ebtechaudio.com/new.html You can get it online for about $49 - http://www.audiomidi.com/common/cfm/product.cfm?pid=4803 Been using it for a year, and it completely defeats the hum, without any affect on your audio. The Radio Shack solution actually filters your audio - ...

Hum-X from Ebtech will do the trick, SAFELY

I also looked into a $0.35 solution, but got really concerned about being in a DJ booth with significant amounts of power all around me. So I looked into a safer solution: Hum-X from Ebtech: http://www.ebtechaudio.com/new.html You can get it online for about $49 - http://www.audiomidi.com/common/cfm...

Arp in EnergyXT

You are correct, there is an arp in EnergyXT. Basically, you load EnergyXT as a VSTi within Live. Then you load your VSTi of choice inside EnergyXT. You need to learn EnergyXT a bit to figure out how to use the arp, but it's pretty easy when you go through the various help files out there.

Look at ARPocalypse Help

http://www.wiz.nildram.co.uk/ARPocalypse/manual.htm There are two ways to do this. I think you tried the first way. Try the second way, where you insert ARPocalypse as an insert in an audio track. I haven't tried this yet, so I'm wondering if it will work. Let me know. I have successfully used Energ...

Guys, I can't second this enough...and yes, I did join in on the other threads regarding better mouse usage. These days, it's silly to not have support for multi-button mouse(s) or for the scroll wheel. Sure there are iBooks the only have one button if you don't add a USB mouse, and in that instance...

FL Studio VSTi not loading in Live 4.04

This problem first came about in Live 4.03 on PC. FL Studio, the VSTi version, not the Rewire version, just did not load. The mouse would show the "thinking" (hourglass) icon, and then Live pretty much crashes. In Live 4.01, the VSTi loaded just fine. However, in Live 4.03 and 4.04, the pr...

I have also found this to be the case. FL used to work in Live 4.01 as a VSTi. Now it just hangs, and the only work-around is Rewire, which has sync issues and doesn't pass through midi from my controller to FL :(

It's any sample, not just a particular set of samples. Also, keep in mind that the Live session plays just fine after the error message. But the bug is in the autocreation of the track.

Update:

I installed a CLEAN copy of WinXP. Nothing else installed at all. I installed Live 4.03. I then tried to autocreate a track by dragging a sample onto the track view. I again got the error message. Suggestions?
