However, you can save your midi-mapped version as a sort of template and start every new set with that template.
Just remember to save it under a new name each time you start a new project..

Live isnt exactly well suited for working with odd time signatures.. I would say the whole grid-looping-approach which made Live a revolutionary software, is also the Achilles heel when it comes to odd time signatures. I dont have Live in front of me at the moment, but this depends on whether your midi button only sends "NOTE ON" or both "NOTE ON+NOTE OFF" when you push it. + Is it a toggle button or is it momentary? It has to do with how live handles midi messages when mapping buttons. Which c...
