Thanks for the input. Yep, 32nd quant. won't save me if I'm crap with the pads:? ANyway it's good to hear that Live6 would be sufficient as I'm not very interested of 7 right now. Drum racks I do not need. Here's few more thoughts...Is there really a chance to fry my controller as I'm using osx 10.4...

What are the benefits of using Live 7 with mpd24 (version 1.10) over the same set up except Live 6. I'm still a bit unsure about this controller (as I don't own it yet)- I won't upgrade to 7 if 6 does the trick. Any ideas?

You're right..Double tempo might be an option- and lot's of practising as well!

There still a huge gap between 16th quant. and no quant at all...ah well..maybe it's perfected in Live7? I'm still with 5->6

Hi, Is anybody using mpd24 and playing complex live drums on the fly. What might be the wisest way to do this as Live doesn't offer 32nd record quantization. I'm noobie - and I'm also in a big hurry and can't find the solution to my problem. I'm trying to resample a scene with 3-4 tracks to a single clip. The end result is somewhat crappy sounding clip than the original tracks (scene) playing together. I've checked all the meters and so on. Any ideas? I ...

I'm trying to learn Sampler but can't find all the answers from Live manual. Is there a dedicated manual for this thing? Anyway, here's a one question: Is it possible to edit a volume envelope per sample? not globally...
