+ 21000 It is SO boring. I am using Live less and less just because 1-Live7 takes forever to start, and 2- the browser is a total mess. I was so in love with Live5, i am a bit eager having upgraded, ti makes me forget about the other new good features. I REALLY hope it will be taken into considerati...

Same here.
I switched from Live5.2 to Live7.01, and the loading time is really longer : it always takes more tan 40 seconds.

Well, learn something new every day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCbAgTxrQ0w Justice’s Phantom = Goblin’s Tenebre Wait.... You mean that such an obvious rip-off of a famous 70's classic hasn't been hugely spotted by most of the " Phantom " listeners ? I mean... : even the title is a hi...

Any news about fixing the annoying browser bug (not sorting plugins in the A > Z order) ?
It seems nothing but it is boring as hell...

Same here.
I had no problem using Live5, and upgraded to Live7 : i don't use it that much as having to re-sort everything each time is close from being a showstopper.
I am really fed up with that browser.

Ok.
I kinda solved this by moving all my vst folders, and putting them again one by one (wedll : "efx", then"instr" folder, etc). Now it works.
But it couldn't handle all the plugins at once. Weird.

Live7.0.1 first launch : freeze/hang while scanning VST

Hello I have just been installing Live7.0.1 (i was using Live5.2 daily until upgrading), and the host won't start : it is frozen since 15 minutes while doing the VST scanning. DId it happen to anyone else ? I guess the answer will be "a plugin must cause Live to hang", ok, but why the hell...

Live7 over Live5

Hi
This is a pretty dumb question, but i was wondering :
I have to upgrade from Live5.2 to Live7 : should i first uninstall Live5, or better install Live7 along with Live5 ?

Thank you !

I am still on Live5, so i will upgrade and get both improvements & new features of 2 versions at once. Otherwise, i wouldn't have upgraded: there is one or two neat features (the drum track simply looks amazing and for sure will use the hardware thing), but i don't care about Ableton-restricted ...

realtime loop recording with a sustain pedal ?

Hi I would like to set up a live set in such a way that when i click on my sustain pedal, it starts recording audio, and, since i hit the pedal again, it creates a new clip (in the same track) and start recording it. Is it possible ? I have been reading several posts about live looping around, but t...
