Why not just map your "R" key to Arrange record. I did this and never looked back..

Check your user settings on push. It's possible you have them set to low/high which can cause the pads to be over sensitive… Just a guess?

I'm not one to rain on anybody's parade and I can certainly understand your excitement to get your hands on a push unit. Okay guys, are you ready for a dope workaround?

Record enable the Session and Arrange buttons and hit the space bar. Play some notes while your clip records to the Arrange with the Overdubbed notes.

It does work.. here is what I did. I recorded an 8 bar drum clip in Session. Then hit the Arrange record switch in the menu bar. Simply duplicate the drum track in question and delete the clip from it, now hit arrangement record from session view and hit push's session record switch. As your clips are recording into arrange you can now Record...
