and for those old-school sounds, i sent LIVE's arp to my sh101, and bingo! Sounds like fun. Wish I didn't sell my blue 101 some years ago. :( Think how nice it would be if the arpeggiator could change speed according to notes. Higher speed when higher notes are played 8O . A kind of harmonic arpegg...

C64 chords

Ok. This maybe logical to some. But there probably is a couple of people who don't know it. Now that the arpeggiator is fixed in 5.03 we can go crazy with that c64 type sound. It's real simple: Take an arp and set it to free rate (speed 20-50 ms). Retrigger set to notes. And set to downwards pattern...

You can save the settings in a scene.

Just press the scene button. Then the knob corresponding to store.
Afterwards you can change the name of the scene by pressing knob nr. 1 and use the other knobs to enter letters.

Good luck...

01X and vst parameter edits

I use the Cubase remote mode in the 01X. And when I try to edit a plugins parameters they disapear in the 01x display when I hit the flip button.

Is this a Live problem or a 01X problem? Have also tried with the Logic remote mode.

Thanks

EQ 3 has a kind of juicy/fat sound to it. Just place it on your material without touching the controls and hear the difference.

If you are going to buy a softsynth I can recomend the NWSynth. It sounds like a real analog synth! In my personal opinion this is the best software synth on the market today. It uses a lot of cpu, but that's the price you gotta pay if you want a really good sound. I would rather have one good vsti,...

Indeed ... The "real" KLC-DE definitely works in Live 5.02.
Playing with it right now.
Same here. 8)

What about the Studio Electronics range of synthesizers? I'm personally thinking of getting a ATC-1. For a demo model I will have to pay between 800-900 $. Real analog circuitry but with midi. Its called the Tone Chameleon. Don't know if it satisfies all your synth needs though. Looks like basic fat...

Ok.. I won't beg for votes. But why not have listen to the track and tell me what you think. Is it too cheesy for all you idm people out there? I have already got alot of positive feedback on the song. And I'm thinking of releasing it on a 100-500 ex. promo or something. Is it something you would sp...

Touchpad absolute control

I want the touchpad on my laptop to send absolute controls to Live. This would make all those x/y boxes on the effects and vst's to come alive.
