Re: Live 9 Pricing
Not at an extra cost? How does Cycling74 eat then? They aren't part of Ableton. Ableton, I assume, has to give them a cut.

This is pretty solid. What would make this even more solid would be if they announced that all fo the functionality of Push was accomplished through M4L.
I might buy push, but I would REALLY love the ability to make my own with max for live. That was the dream when it was announced so long ago.

Re: 64 bit Native Support - Ableton Unable To?
The tone of this thread is weird. No they haven't released it, but chances are they are working on it. It probably involves substantial changes all over Live's code base and they are obviously doing everything that they can to avoid buggy releases. I can't really envision how M4L factors in, but it ...

Re: Crosstalk - OSC api -(this is spam. yes it is.)
Livecontrol exposes the innards of live, but you still need to work pretty hard (ie, read the documents they lovingly create) Crosstalk would enable you to map simpler controls on the fly without knowing much about the underlying format. the best explanation i can think of right now is this. If you ...

Re: Crosstalk - OSC api -(this is spam. yes it is.)
I am certainly thankful for the support, but ShelLuser did contact me privately to explain a little. I didn't originally say it was spam in the title, partially because I felt it was relevant enough and partially because I did want the attention of anyone interested in an OSC api, regardless of whet...

Re: Help my new iOS Ear Training App make a Surge on the charts!
Fair enough. I have a ways to go. Thank you for the support. (everything after is only for clarity and is not meant as a 'rebuttle' I kept going back and forth because i wanted to find out what would have satisfied your expectations ) All versions before 1.1 played the note every time you moved. I c...

Re: Help my new iOS Ear Training App make a Surge on the charts!
Only in the context of what I feel is a useful iOS application. In that case, my description should have warned you off. Many apps already play a note or chord and ask you to identify it. I am hard pressed creating different in that arena. (I have plans, but they are much more involved than this pr...
