I've seen this puppy in action a little bit - The Cycling '74 folks take it with them everywhere they go just so they can see the wide eyed gazes from people. I haven't seen it working with Live but what I did see impressed the sh*t5 out of me. It is one versatile mofo - it would take some getting u...

I have used tons of cracked software - In my opinion the demo versions of most programs aren't good enough for me to get a real understanding of the product - I'm ok with cracked versions existing - I couldn't hope to go out and buy everything that interests me - Nonetheless, once I have played with...

I use both Live 5 and Pro Tools LE 6.9 on Windows XP 3.0 mhz and 2gb RAM etc. etc. My digital audio hardware is an MBOX - Prior to that I used an audiowerk8 card from Emagic that sucked a*s with modern day software. Well in fact it sucked with older software too... When I was ready to replace it I l...

but if you do have talent - or at least good ideas - working with a system that doesn't cut the mustard can be awful. I'm curious about the Toshiba Satellite - I currently have a Satellite Pro M10 15 in screen 512 ram - I also have a Tecra 9100 512 ram - You sound pretty happy with your Sat Pro... I...

If I'd known people would react in such entertaining ways, I might have advertised the stack of Toshibas I recently gave away.... 2.0ghz Celeron Toshiba satellites w/ 256 mb ram and 15 inch screens... Woulda been fun to film the path...

Bit Rot
Ok what's up with the bit rot that seems to happen after I have been running live 5 for some time - anything that's record enabled, say a guitar or a mic. will start to sound distorted and awful... After I go into the preferences and noodle with stuff it fixes itself but that's lame... I shouldn't h...
