Re: seems like not a lot of movie composer

3phase nothing against the other points but can you be so kind an stop spreading the sound quality thing or just do a friking a/b and post it here? I tried to do it and the result was every time that my perception is biased. the cubase file was the same as the ableton file. if someone can show the ...

Re: i am looking for a scales plugin

Here is a video for a tool that's for use in StudioOne. For version 1.0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObsYlfnYpGc For 1.04 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOseoVW76gI It's a multi tool and it adds chords of any scale into the piano roll by one click. You know your chords and still need to, but ...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...

Looking at Bitwig, I could add more then 10 innovations(already done in many post's) including that all what Live offers is already in Bitwig too. Bitwig is also fresh from start programmed and has 64bit really working, where Ableton them self not recommending it(if I'm right) All these are facts a...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...

Thinking about my analogy earlier, maybe it could be the other way around Maybe the Bitwig guys who left Ableton are the ones with the real original idea, and it's their baby and a genuine expression of their desires, the way Live used to be for them. Maybe 9 will become the app that lost vision, b...

EDIT: Obviously I'm not saying that anyone who doesn't LOVE Ableton is childish, but I'm speaking more of the simpli.cissimus ' of the world here. ...and that Edit is just a proof that the way you mentioned me shows that you're the one who's childish ! Had the impression to read a Kardashian tweet....

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...

Bitwig will be the greatest thing after 2.0 release. Imagine how many people will use the modular part of it, twaek it and come up with great synth and effects for Bitwig. I see a great community coming ahead, sharing all the cool stuff. Just like the Reaktor user community... Thousands of effects a...

Re: Bitwait....I mean Bitwig

I want that. http://www.bitwig.com/dms/bitwig/img/announcement_page/sections/2/native-modular-system.png That will be the most coolest thing ever ! Having Reaktor in DAW-form ! Build your own instruments and effects, or change the original ones to your taste. Exchange the new creations with others ...

Re: Bitwait....I mean Bitwig

What I would still love but don't expect to see any time soon, is clip-specific effects. Like, I'd love to be able to have multiple clips on a single track, each with their own effects (and possibly automation). Have a look at Studio One v2.5 ! It has that exactly ! I love the Macro commands in S1 ...

Re: Bitwait....I mean Bitwig

This here is the only DAW-related forum that has such stupid hard-core idiots as users. Without brain and no common sense how to have a constructive discussion. Who don't know how to accept and allow someones thoughts. I look at the Studio One forum and can't find any stupid idiots there. Posting pi...

@sdfak1234 I think you're way too smart for the kids here.(they just don't know) No matter what arguments you deliver and how good and logical they are. You can't win! Their arguments are worthless and childish. Half of them will in two years be the greatest Bitwig fans and claim they always were fr...

Re: Live 9 Convert To Midi From Audio Is Hopelessly Inaccurate?

After hitting hard on Ableton all the time, I feel uncomfortable to say this...! ...but, I think that Ableton made this feature working well and real competition to Melodyne. Kids who now expected to get a feature that makes them steal other peoples compositions will not be happy, and that is...

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?

I still think that it is NOT too difficult to implement proper automation delay compensation and metering sync. My assumtion is that the audio pdc algorithm in live (which is working nice) is calculating the delay of the plugins in a chain and is summarizing it up correctly. So live could store the...
