Use Enigma
Hi: It sounds like you guys are trying to fat-finger the programming. There is an alternative. If you have the UC-33e, you can download the free Enigma software from http://www.evolution.co.uk . Enigma provides a graphical interface for you to program your UC-33e. If you have a standard UC-33, Enigm...

It locks up Live
When I try to insert an FX Teleport wrapped plug into Live, it locks up. Usually task manager will allow me to kill off Live.
I have used FX Teleport successfully in Cubase SX (1,2,3), Cubase SE, Cubase VST 5.1r1, Sonar, Tracktion, and V-Stack.

Live 4.04 (PC) and FX Teleport
Hi: I have posted in the past regarding the fact that Live will not host an FX Teleport wrapped VST effect. My previous posts have not garnered any sort of official response, and I am hoping that this one will. Is FX Teleport something that Live intentionally does not support or plan to support? Is ...

Check your e-mail
If you bought the upgrade from Ableton, the serial number would have been e-mailed to you. The subject would have been something like Ableton Receipt (Order Number: XXXXX).

i'm not sure if Live allows for multi sync out, but one possible workaround could be had using something like MIDIyoke/MIDI-ox. you could assign Live's sync out to a MIDIyoke port and then route that port to send to two (or more) ports on your MIDISport. Yeah, that is what I am doing, except I am u...

Do I have this MIDI clock thing right
While I use Live mainly as a ReWire slave to SX, since the abletons put so much work into adding the MIDI features, I thought I would at least give them a try. If I am correct (and there is a possibility that I am not), I am a little dismayed at the MIDI clock capabilities of the app. Unless I am ov...

Sure it is possible
I haven't sync'd Live and Traktor using MIDI Yoke, but sync'd SX and Sonar using it. One app sends the MIDI clock, and the other app follows it. I have also sync'd apps between two machines using MidiOverLan CP. You can check it out at http://www.musiclab.com

They do better than most
They are more active in their forum than a lot of manufacturers. If they answered every post in the forum, I doubt they would have time to write the code.

I did mine in SX2
When I upgraded my virus to OS 6.5, I used Cubase SX 2 on the PC. It went without a hitch.

Re: running Virex along with Live makes Live run better! WTF?
Tracktion costs 1/5th the price of Live and has about 1/20th the features of Live and is about 1/2 as stable.guatamaham wrote: I tried the same thing in Tracktion, which is a new "baby" sequencer costing 1/5 of what Live does;

Off topic for just a second here, I have an evolution uc16, is it posible to program the snapshot keypads to send midi data and use them to trigger clips, etc.? Thanks. The UC-16's keypad is not programmable. When you press the snapshot keys, the CC data from the 16 rotary controllers are sent to t...
