Re: master-volume-reset when starting new scene?
I start to feel like an M4L-Advertiser... Probably it could be done easy with for example the MultiMap device. 1. Put MultiMap (or anything else which you can Map its knob to the master-volume-fader) on a dummy track and map it to the master-volume-fader. 2. make a dummy clip and make an automation...

Re: Retaining automation in clip without automation envelope.
The automation reverts back to the manually set value, eg. your dotted line.... This has always been the behaviour to my knowledge. Clip Automation only modifies a value on a momentary basis... Cheers D Thanks for confirming S4racen. @TomViolenz: I just try to understand what happens in Ableton, un...

Re: Retaining automation in clip without automation envelope.
The dotted line usually should be on the value which you last set MANUALLY, or atleast the DEFAULT value (when u opened the set).

Re: Launchpad Pro Support for my scrubber device.
Hi dataf1ow!
Very cool device! I use it already with my Push. Planning to buy an old Launchpad Mini or just an old Launchpad just for use with your scrubber-device. Can you confirm that it will work with the old Launchpad (Mini) ?
Thank you in advance

Re: How to add LFO to Macro value?
Hi jstncs
You have M4L? There is an LFO-device which you can map to almost every parameter, also macros as far as i know.

Re: Retaining automation in clip without automation envelope.
I have the pretty much the same problem i think. Just to confirm: if u set for example macro1 to a value of 100 (manually), then trigger a clip which sets the value to 50, then stop this clip. What value has macro1 now? Then, trigger a clip with no automation. What value has the macro1 while the cli...

Re: crackling/stuttering when unfolding grouptracks
yeah sorry, i meant the buffer size. stupid from me.
So yeah the buffer is now at 512. For fingerdrumming thats already too high for me (13-14ms latency).
The soundcard drivers are up to date.
I had the same problem with my old soundcard already (mpc renaissance).

Re: My first push and a few questions.
never heard of the knobs themselves clicking But I did have it over the speakers before like the OP. I think the solution was either to turn "reduced latency when monitoring" in the Options menu off, or to raise the buffer size in the preferences. I'd try both. And no, that is not "n...

crackling/stuttering when unfolding grouptracks
Hello there I use Push and some other MIDI-controllers (BCR2000, 2nd Push, Keyboard). I also have some hardware-synths attached and integrated in my live set. Fireface UCX soundcard (USB attached). I work only in session-view, theres nothing recorded/done in the arrangement view. So assume i have a ...

Re: My first push and a few questions.
Hi there Congratulations on your push! :) Maybe I can help you with the 2. question: If you mean a tiny click coming from the knob itself (not over the monitors/headphones!) then this is normal. It's the touch-sensitive "thing" in the knob which detects if you touched it and then shows the...

Re: One knob for hp lp filter?
Do you have M4L? I made one for myself, consisting only of a small M4L-Device (called the double-knobble) with one knob for Hi-Lo-Cutting (midi mappable) and an EQ8 which does the actual filtering. Middle position (64) is unfiltered signal, turning left/right does Hi- respectivly Locut. The double-k...

Better (or errrm.. ACTUAL) "Session Overview" on Push
Hello I started to put together a big live set for live-performance. It consists of several dozens of scenes and also about the same amount of tracks. With Push's session-overview as it is now, there is not much feedback from the grid when viewing at it. All buttons are the same color, except the on...

Re: Recording without tempo, let Ableton calculate the BPM
Thanks for your reply. I have to test that out, but as far as I know the looper is also bound to the bpm, so basically the same issues as with a midi-clip. But I will play around with it and see if I can figure it out. Meanwhile other suggestions are very welcome :) I also wouldn't mind using a max4...

Recording without tempo, let Ableton calculate the BPM
Dear Ableton friends I have Ableton and Push and also an MPC Renaissance (running as Plugin in Ableton). When I have a beat/drumpattern in my mind, i can easily play it on the pads live without problem. My problem is that when i record it and play it back, it sounds completely different because of t...

Looking for a Collab in/around Zürich
Hi there would very like to meet other abletoners from switzerland if there are any...? ;) I imagine jamsession we could do together, maybe even hookup our Equipment together. i have the full Hands-on Equipment including the PUSH, so it's not necessary that you bring your own gear. I especially like...
