Re: Does a reliable audio interface really exist?
LOVING my Focusrite Clarrett 8 pre. No issues at all. Also dug my old scarlett 2i4 but the sound quality was so much better once I plugged the new Clarrett in. Plus it's thunderbolt if that means anything.

Looking to move from NY
Hello friends, As some of you know, I was in a terrible accident 4 years ago and my case finally settled. Dubspot in NYC gave me a scholarship when the owner heard about the severity of my injuries so I am 100% staying in NY until I take the 6 Ableton month course. Once done, I want to move to a cit...

Re: New Macbook Pro
To me, this is really an unexciting update. The computers are very expensive, and Sierra has brought nothing to the table (Siri? why should I care? HD Clean Up? Useless too...). Apple somehow has lost its momentum. For the first time in years, I am finding Microsoft's devices really appealing. The ...

Audio in Beyer Dynamics DT 770 Headphones is too low.
Hello Friends, I am using a Focusrite Clarett 8 pre with Beyer Dynamics DT 770 Pro. It is the 80 OHM version. I recently had to start using headphones instead of my monitors due to the time of night I am recording. I can not figure out a way to increase the volume to the cans as it really is too low...

Oops. I meant 12/31/16. They are giving two different loop packages, eventide Reverb ($199). Izoote digital delay, Bias x software., etc.
Give yourself an hour to get it all done.
Enjoy

Re: Sub Forum "Link your Music"
Easyworkflow, I'm pretty sure Erik wasn't "accusing" you per se. He made a statement that, imho, is pertinent because it's something that we all do on a large scale. Don't take it personally please. Bro....you are super chill & down to earth. You pegged me to the tee. I am so grateful...

Re: Sub Forum "Link your Music"
It's like any site, everyone WANTS feedback but no one wants to take the time to listen to other people's music and GIVE feedback. How many tracks did you listen and comment on after posting yours for instance? There are two types of people in this world. People that like to take the nasty approach...

Forum has less input from Threads then a year ago.
Not sure why, but this Forum is either losing members switching to other DAWS, or members have become a bit apathetic and no longer have the same caring approach they had with helping newbies two years ago. I see so many questions go unanswered without a single response which gives a terrible introd...

Sub Forum "Link your Music"
I believe that forum is where new music should be posted. But if everyone looks, most threads get zero replies. That surprises me a bit because I would think sharing music and then explaining the synths, controllers, loops, etc you used would be a HUGE learning tool for everyone. Just out of curiosi...

Received Drumcore Ultra Today
I pray to the music Gods even though there is only one God, but you get my drift that I didn't just waste money. I needed a way to lay down super fast percussion tracks to capture NON drumming or percussive ideas. So I didn't want to spend time finger drumming or sequencing on Push 2 even though I v...

1 1/2 years after buying Ableton, my very 1st track !!!
Hello friends....I purchased Ableton & Push in Feb of 2015 but NEVER took it seriously until near end of 2015. Reason I even purchased the software was to help my brain recover from a traumatic brain injury. I was in horrific accident at end of 2012, and finally feel like the time has come to st...

Re: Fishman Triple Play won't recognize program change in Live
I I either get another foot controller for the Fishman or try something like LoopMIDI which can give me a couple of virtual midi ins. I then assign one midi port to the Fishman and assign another to Ableton Live. I would have to reprogram the Softstep to send on the Fishman's virtual midi port when...

Re: Is it time to finally buy an Ipad Pro??
I found a mint Ipad pro 12.9 256GB wifi on ebay for $749. I am starting a solo gig soon and going to use loopers, play wireless midi guitar with soft synths in Ableton, and recently realized that the Ipad is not only great for all the various apps now available, but when I gig and use Link, it will ...
